AEDBF Romania, in partnership with the ASE Faculty of Law, ING Bank, and the Romanian Society of Business Law, organized the first international summer school held under the aegis of the ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme. The event took place in Predeal from August 5 to 9, 2025, bringing together students, academic staff, and professionals from the banking and financial sector in Romania and abroad.

The program included an interdisciplinary approach to the new financial era, covering topics from credit scoring algorithms and crypto assets to corporate governance, digital banking, and the impact of climate change on the financial system. The lectures were delivered by representatives of the National Bank of Romania, ING Bank, BRD – Groupe Société Générale, Salt Bank, Banca Transilvania, as well as by renowned international professors and researchers.

At the academic level, the summer school benefited from the participation of partner universities: Uniwersytet SWPS Warsaw, Science Hub UniLodz (Poland), and Università di Camerino (Italy). Practical workshops, networking sessions, and moments of reconnection in nature were also organized to facilitate both knowledge exchange and international collaborations.

Through this initiative, AEDBF Romania strengthens its role as a promoter of internationalization and cooperation between academia and the financial-banking sector, offering participants a unique learning experience and paving the way for new joint teaching and research projects.
