Journal of Banking and Financial Law

European Association of Banking and Financial Law – Romania together with the Publishing House Rosetti brings to the attention of the specialists Journal of Banking and Financial Law (ISSN 1842-4368), the result of a strong and long-standing partnership.

The magazine is a publication legal a biannual publication in the banking and financial sector, currently the only publication of its kind. a periodic from the Romanian banking sector, which aims to present, from a legal perspective, opinions, articles, studies, or scientific materials and specialized judicial practice, thereby distinguishing itself from standard publications. banking news, monitoring and assessing, at the same time, the latest news and information regarding all aspects related to this field.

The entire activity of the Journal of Banking and Financial Law is structured upon the legal awareness and culture so essential to every specialist in this field; the content of the Journal is engaging for all those interested in the banking and financial sector, regardless of their professional role.

Therefore, the field of interest enjoys both national and international dynamics and encompasses all specific legal aspects: doctrinal, normative, and case-law debates, scientific research, reviews, interviews, and events.

The scope of our reference field is virtually limitless, so the materials we publish may pertain to: the rights and obligations specific to the banking and financial sector as provided under domestic legislation and/or international agreements; sustainability (sustainable development); cooperation; guarantees and legal risk management; the bank’s role in combating economic crime; the transposition into Romanian law of European directives concerning credit institutions; banking professional ethics; banking secrecy; special programs; consumer credit agreements; consumer protection, and so forth.

For the publication of papers in our Journal, the Authors’ Guidelines shall be strictly observed. The Editorial Board refrains from directing or advising contributors regarding any particular course of their research. Submissions must, without exception, be sent in Word format, and materials that do not meet the specific requirements set forth in the guidelines will not be considered.

In order to establish the current stage of development of the field, as well as the full range of issues within it, the journal shall be distributed free of charge to central and local public authorities, the relevant academic community, and national and international banking and financial institutions, with the aim of ensuring that representatives of the authorities with jurisdiction in the field are informed of all matters related to sustainability.
